CURT adapters also come in various lengths to allow more clearance for a cargo carrier, bike rake or spare tire. This CURT reducer sleeve adapter converts a 2-1/2 In. x 2-1/2 In. receiver tube opening to a 2 In. x 2 In. opening. It installs easily and is compatible with virtually any 2-1/2 In. x 2-1/2 In. hitch. Its gross trailer weight capacity and tongue weight capacity are limited to the hitch. We CNC-form each unit, weld it together using advanced robotic systems and then mechanically descale every surface to make each adapter smooth to accept a finishing coat.
